Title: Secrets and Stars

Summary: There’s something to be said for going from a footnote in a textbook to the most influential woman left alive to change one’s feelings about the press.

A/N: Yeah, you all knew it was coming. The potential for Laura Roslin and Sarah Jane Smith interaction is so fantastic, I couldn't resist. This one got away from me a bit; I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, but the idea was too good to pass up! Thanks to marzipanilla and shyboots for their help!

A/N: You guys, I actually wrote fic! What is this? (400 words totally counts. It's been over a year and I'm very much in poetry mode at the moment.) This was written for adama_roslin's MOL, prompt "lonely". Spoilers for 4.5, set sometime after ADFMS.

I prompted mmegiry with "Richard Adar" and somehow wound up writing that one myself.

Title: Out of Gas and Riding on Air

Summary: For weeks, she’s been desperate to get this trial over with, to send Gaius Baltar through an airlock and move on with the rest of the fleet. She still is, but now there’s a new battle to fight, and part of her is ready to lay down her arms.

AN: Written for duathkaimler for the adama_roslin Secret Santa exchange. Her request was "an Adama/Roslin fic that occurs within season 3 or season 4. I suppose I just wish for something happy (that could include fluff, smut, both, or anything else!), that involves a stolen moment between the two of them on Galactica (outside of Bill's quarters). If it involves Saul somehow, that would be awesome, but not a requirement."

The last fic I wrote was for last year's exchange, so I'm a bit rusty. Between my constant nitpicking and catching a miserable cold a couple of days ago, it's taken me awhile to finish - I'm sorry I'm just now posting it!

I tried to make it happy, I really did, and I think I succeeded on some counts! It's angsty fluff, if you will. I hope you enjoy nonetheless. Happy Holidays :)

This week's rememberlaura theme and specifically today's drabble post reminded me of a very short drabble-like fic I wrote right after He That Believeth In Me airs. I posted it then but had totally forgotten about it and considering most of you weren't on my friends list then and I never posted it anywhere else, I thought I'd repost it. (Really, I just want to use my fanfiction tag again, because I don't think I've posted anything new in a YEAR. Wow, I fail.)

Here's the final product! For those of you at mary_mcawesome, you've most of these drabbles, but I finally finished the little project. In honor of Mary's birthday I wrote 100 words for 11 of my favorite characters of hers, like I did a couple of years ago for Sarah Clarke. Mary's played a lot of incredible women so I didn't get to touch on them all, but hopefully you'll enjoy those that I did. A big thank you to those that have commented already! Summary: A thank you to _ila_ for the lovely header and the yummy 6/9 goodies she's been providing me! *hugs* She spoils me, seriously. I was working on a Caprica/Nina Earth!fic, but that didn't really go anywhere, so this is attempt number 2. It's not quite femslash but it's about the Natalie/Nina relationship after leaving the fleet.

I'm going to be so depressed when the actual Number 9 is revealed. This is a fun crackship!

If anyone wants to pass on any further fic ideas, go for it, because I want to write them but can't come up with anything that isn't ridiculously smutty. The 6/9 pairing was SO not intentional but it isn't helping.

Mmm, now I want a Six/Nine icon. (And I CAN'T TYPE NINE. I KEEP TYPING NINA. BOO.)

And while we're talking about Nina - Sarah Clarke is MY hero.
